Since 2005, school districts with more than 50 employees have been required to train all supervisors in the prevention of sexual harassment. SB 1343 significantly expanded that requirement and now requires all employers with at least five employees to train all employees in the prevention of sexual harassment within six months of starting employment and every two years. This workshop will provide practical guidance on how to flexibly meet these requirements in a manner that meets your district’s unique needs as well as offer ideas and practical tips about how to use these requirements as an opportunity to share district values and improve workplace culture.
